Life After Cancer.  An opportunity to honour the second chance of life following a cancer diagnosis.  It is an inner exploration of your own unique cancer journey, the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects and what life looks like or means for you on the other side of treatment.

This four-part workshop can be a raw and intimate journey towards deeper parts of your soul.  You are invited to reflect upon your own journey and focus on the gifts of your experience and what they mean for you.

Areas of exploration and introspection include:

  • Acceptance that your journey is unique and individual
  • Compassion for yourself and what you have experienced
  • Courage to reflect on, witness and learn from the gifts of your experience
  • Nurture yourself in new ways
  • Renew your appreciation for life and see every day as a gift
  • Evolve and grow into who you may become from your journey

Each session will have a different focus and woven through each will be inner reflection, quiet journaling time and sharing if you choose. Some sessions may include additional reflection afterwards.

The nonjudgmental space that is provided offers an opportunity for sharing as a way of understanding your journey and assisting others with theirs.  Each participant decides how much or how little to share.

Life after Cancer is designed for those who have undergone and completed their cancer treatment, regardless of whether 6 months, 6 or 16 years have passed, and who have an interest in personal self-development and growth.

Held at the beautiful Yoga Farm Studio in Mount Duneed, ample off-street car parking and amenities are available, and a cosy fireplace during cooler weather.
